Danielle's path to Crested Butte was a winding one. Having grown up in a military family, she was fortunate enough to travel the world.  She can truly say there's nowhere else she'd rather live and raise her family than this beautiful and quirky mountain town. 

Danielle has assisted in hundreds of transactions and has experience in both the Denver and Crested Butte markets. Her diverse real estate experience is particularly valuable in navigating transactions in our mountain community, which often differ from other markets. She genuinely enjoys teaching people about real estate investing, understands the complexities of homeownership—especially at nearly two miles high—and is an experienced landlord and investment property owner.

Danielle and her husband Mike, own Herder Custom Homes, a residential construction company. This provides her with specialized knowledge regarding lot selections, the construction process, and the unique considerations for building in our mountain climate.

Danielle holds a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of North Texas. Before her career in real estate, Danielle was a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher.

Outside of work, she loves traveling, hiking with her mischievous dog Irwin, mountain biking, and chasing her two certified mountain town kids down the slopes. Danielle feels incredibly fortunate to call Crested Butte home and looks forward to helping you find your dream mountain property in the Gunnison Valley.
